21-12-2024Best monitor I have is an ASUS(but not this one). Very washed screen and controls are very limited, sound ETC. Got it cheap and it feels like it.

> 3 dayI got this monitor because the acer one I wanted was being sold for 2x the normal price likely due to availability. I feel like the image is kinda blurred or tinted. Not as great as I thought it would be.

> 3 dayJust a bit pricy for my taste, but this was recommended by my partner and I do not regret this purchase. The parameters are just perfect to me.

> 3 dayThe picture quality was great for videos but overall, the screen seemed dim and the color settings never seemed to look as good as my higher quality Dell monitor for business applications. When using for text and Windows applications, the text seemed pixelated. I contacted ASUS but the problem was not resolved. Again, I guess you get what you pay for..........I will probably return.

Greater than one weekI’ve had this monitor for years and recently had an accident but decided to get the same monitor again. Its very good for gaming on a budget but still wanting a good product. I did get a dead pixel in my most recent order but it’s not that bad. The advertised hz seems to be false but I think that has to do with the amazon provider and not ASUS directly. Overall get this monitor as a main for a budget or a top notch 2nd monitor.

17-12-2024I bought two of these monitors and my primary use is Bible reading, photography, web design, and video/music editing. Both monitors works great for that and they would be fine to game on too. I choose these monitors because they have hdmi and audio connections as they have built-in speakers. I already have a set of Sony external speakers but wanted to use the built-in speakers whenever I watched YouTube. I was disappointed in the very bad quality of the speaker sound. Asus shouldnt have even bothered putting in speakers. Also, you cannot connect audio cable from PC to the monitor and expect sound if you are using hdmi. If you are using vga then it works. Because my graphic card doesnt support dual hdmi audio simultaneously, only one monitor can play audio at a time. I had to contact Asus and they did confirm this to me.

> 3 dayColors are washed out. Overall build quality seems very poor for an ASUS product.

> 3 dayThe screen has this whiteness to it that no setting changes can fix. Other reviews make it seem like it’s not that bad but it is

> 3 dayIts so incredibly foggy and unclear, I get that its a fairly cheap panel but its like they didnt apply a polarization filter correctly or something. I had to set the monitor settings to make it less straining and then change my GPU display settings to make it viewable after. It still looks awful but I needed a monitor the next day instead of waiting on a replacement. On the pros side of things its kind of massive so thats neat? The viewing angles pretty bad however so you better be mounting this at eye level and never changing the set up. My desk leaves the center of the screen about 3 below my eye level and I have to prop the screen up so its tilted at an angle to be viewable in good color with less light bleed around the bezel. Just buy a slightly more expensive monitor for less disappointment unless this is a second display you just want and dont actually need to look at.
