a. 27 in viewable but I would not call this frameless. From the outer edge of the frame to the viewable area there is a 1/4 inch of black all the way around. This is visible in the the Amazon images of the monitor. The monitor slopes out from the front to the back so the total width is a tad bigger the what the front of the frame makes it look like. b. Slim design is a questionable term to use when describing this monitor. Its no more or less slim then any other modern monitor on the market in its class. The back arches out from either side. c. The controls being on the back are a pain. There is plenty of room at the bottom for the controls like any other monitor. d. Mine runs at 1080p and 75Hz with no issues. Not sure what issue the one review was having but I attached a screenshot of my display settings. Its a good monitor for $150.00 and at that price you should not expect it to be the most amazing thing in the world. If you are looking for something a bit larger for your tired old eyes and dont want to pay allot of money it will probably do you just fine. I have always found lower end Asus monitors to be perfectly adequate for general and business usage. Id happily buy another one and probably will in the future. I have only had it for a few days so Ill update this review if anything changes.

Purchased two for work monitors due to size, value, and most importantly built-in Eye care technology. They are super nice and eye dont feel the need to use my reading glasses with these. Highly recommend them.

Hi All - I purchased these to mount on a dual stand. Other reviewers were saying there are no holes so how. Well I downloaded the manual from Asus and all you have to do is pop off the plastic plate in the back and then remove the 4 screws holding the arm and bingo now you will see the 100mmx100mm screw holes for mounting. Works perfectly with my stand.

Lightning took out my docking station and two of three of my older ViewSonic 24 monitors. I ordered these to replace all three of them and am very happy with my purchase. Im a software developer and am loving the real estate they provide.

Quality was adequate. Price was good. Using for work from home and not gaming so it does the job. Replaced a Sony so I could tell the difference right away. If I had to buy it again I’d pay more for the Sony.

Bought this as an upgrade for my daughters computer that had a very poor monitor. This Asus monitor is bright, clear and very detailed in the picture. She plays school games on it and watches YouTube kids, so no it may not be the highest refresh rate and highest resolution out there but you get a good quality product for what it is, a HD monitor with a great picture.

Easy to install and configure, I have been using four of these monitors since last couple of months now, no issues, works perfectly.

Ill have to admit that the monitor has only been plugged in about 1 hour of use but Im impressed with the clarity and brifghtness. Im coming from an older model Samsung and I apparently was not seeing good and making all kinds of bad trading in the stock market. With this perfect screen size and Im sure my days of making better trades are coming soon. Great price for a 75hz monitor. Im not a gamer but videos are looking good.
