> 3 dayRunning Debian Linux with the NVidia drivers, I was able to (thanks to the community Kernel contributions, and no thanks to ASUS) dual boot Windows and Linux with only one issue so far: Sound doesnt work. Bluetooth and wifi works (need the firmware on your install media to do a netinstall), my gaming headphone dongle works as a workaround, but the onboard sound is no go. Primus works. Performance in games is good. But theres no audio output yet.

18-12-2024I’ve been using the laptop since March and I can happily report that I have never had an issue with it. It was meant to be used as a desktop laptop since it is pretty heavy to travel with. Not that you couldn’t travel with it, but it would be too heavy for me to lug around. The laptop is on for over 8 hours a day and I never had an issue with it. It is the perfect laptop for work and play. The hubby does all the gaming on it and has absolutely no complaints. The display quality is amazing and I love the RGB lighting while I work at 5am. The happy colors are appreciated. I keep it elevated on a laptop stand with holes to let it breath so it doesn’t overheat and last me a VERY LONG time! I would have loved more USB ports, but that’s ok. It’s a beast for playing games so if youre a gamer you’re going to love it! I’m not going to get geeky and relist everything it has as you can see it for yourself in the description. Don’t waste your money on brand name laptops, this beast can run with the big boys!

> 3 dayI9,high watt rtx 3070ti, ddr5 ram, 1tb ssd gen 4, and 300hz 1080p screen is awesome. Performs well, looks cool. Fans get loud but it’s a extreme performance gaming laptop so you know what your in for if you are into gaming laptops. Always keep a power hungry machine with these spec plugged in that should be common sense. I use it a lot, made my own little stand as seen in the picture so when I lay down and the wife wants to use tv or whatever I can play games.

> 3 dayUpgraded from an ASUS from 2016, and I can’t be any happier with my purchase! Computer runs absolutely flawlessly! I tested on Apex Legends (The main game I play) - 300fps on ultra graphics without even so much as a hiccup! Tested there after on some other games (Elder Scrolls Online, New world, Guild Wars 2, Overwatch and CoD - Warzone) all running absolutely perfect!

> 3 dayThis is a nice high end laptop. It has a high end graphics card so it is particularly good for gaming. I found the screen to be suitable for a gaming pc, that is very nice to look at. The only fault I have with this laptop is that it has 16 gigabytes of ram rather than 32 gigabytes of ram. Still, most games only require 16 gigabytes of ram so that is not too much of a problem for gamers. I like the way asus integrates their app with windows update as this makes updating drivers much easier.
