I ordered this to travel with. The computer arrived fast and set up was really simple. Well, until I tried to download a couple of non MicroSoft (MS) apps and even Facebook. The windows S mode does not allow you to down load any apps that are not from MS. And it would not allow me to down load Facebook even from the MS store. The fix was a bit painful. I took win 11 out of S mode, did a reboot, etc. Still not able to down load non-MS apps or Facebook from the MS store. Searching the net, I found some people had success by reloading Win 11 after taking it out of S mode. I did that, downloaded 11 from the cloud, rebooted and everything is now working fine. Would I recommend this a as basic laptop. You bet!

I realize this is a $200 laptop. But still, the basic hardware ought to work, especially a new-model machine fresh out of the box. First time using it I noticed though it was plugged it was not charging. Jiggling/moving the power cord causes it to erratically charge, then stop charging. I don’t know at this point if the issue is the cord or the port, but it is definitely hardware related. Next I tried plugging it into my docking station using the USB-C port. Windows makes the “connected hardware” sound, but there is zero video output to my monitors and the machine doesn’t charge. USB-C port appears DOA as far as I can tell. Really disappointed because I read good reviews, the machine feels solid, and I love the size. But if the basic features don’t work straight out of the box, what’s the point??

This would have been five stars if not for the following: The touch pad which is also supposed to be a method for entering numbers is defective. It simply doesnt work. Intermittent at best.

Es una computadora que cumple con su función, y es la de ayudar en tareas BÁSICAS, por un precio así no se puede pedir más la verdad, si necesita un pc solo para tareas, correos, documentos no muy pesados, este pc es ideal, ya que a parte de ser económico, es pequeño, ideal para cargar a cualquier lado y eso favorece mucho. Si esta buscando un portátil para jugar o diseñar o cosas por el estilo este computador obviamente NO le va a servir porque es muy acorde a tareas pequeñas. A mí me sirvió mucho, de hecho me encanto, necesitaba un pc portátil para cuando salía de mi casa a responder correos y uno que otro whatsapp, de resto no lo uso para más y por ese motivo es que es una muy buena compra. El único aspecto a destacar que no me gusto es que si se ensucia muy rápido, es inevitable que las manos tengan grasa o sudor y cuando uno toca el portátil se notan las marcas de la mano y los dedos, pero es algo que no se puede reprochar para su precio. A parte los materiales si son buenos, no conozco mucho de pcs pero lo que he visto son materiales decentes, baratos pero buenos.

The operating system is trash. You can not even connect to the internet

I have a chrome book and after getting this laptop I feel like I made a terrible decision. Its so slow to process anything . The visual quality is sub par and the touch pad is not good either. Spend the extra 50$ and get the chrome book

Ugraded to 8 gig much faster

Received this laptop today for my fiancé and I must say it’s not a bad laptop! Normally in this price range, you’d expect to only find cheap Chromebooks but this has Windows 11 (Not S Mode) and for only having 4gb Ram, it still runs great!! East to setup and downloaded all updates, no issues so far! Highly recommend!!!

I was looking for a quick Laptop for school, and thought this was quick, safe to say I was wrong. The first day it froze on youtube videos and continues to do it. Word docs and tabs also freeze while I am trying to do school work. All I download is powerpoints and word docs and this thing is already out of space. Does the operating system take up all of it? I am a bit cranky because I hate doing schoolwork and getting slowed down by the pace. In total it is all right, good for a good basic procedure, and surprisingly does not overheat. I talked mainly about the pace, but the display is not sharp when it comes to pictures and colors. It forwent features for durability. It is a laptop that is cost-efficient for a youngster in high school or middle school because it can survive their shenanigans. It is also good for people with low laptop usage. Apart from that, it is best to just save a little more for another one.
