I upgraded my 5 years old laptop to this ASUS and before doing that I did quite a lot of online research. And I can not be happier. This device is fast, like really fast! I like the screen which produces very low levels of reflection, the (illuminated) keyboard has a satisfying “click” and travel, I love the metallic finish of the device and it’s very light to travel with. Overall completely happy. Only downside (being really picky) is that trackpad feels somehow “cheap” when clicking it… I mean, the device looks and feels so premium but the track pad feels like from another device… anyhow it works beautifully. Not a reason to complain. I absolutely recommend this lovely machine.

This Asus Vivobook s14 with 11th gen I5 works great for everyday use and for work. I have not played any games on it but it is very snappy with great battery life.

If youre looking for a sleek, modern laptop, this isnt for you. There is no touch screen, and the screen it does have looks a bit... dated, to me at least. Theres a neon border around the enter key, which is fine but unnecessary. The keyboard does lean on the small side, so if thats a big deal for you Id suggest looking elsewhere. However, the functionality and value of this laptop is great. Who cares if it looks a little 3 years ago? Its fast with good graphics. It doesnt overheat and randomly shut down, like my previous one, and the fan noise is unnoticeable. Ive had a couple issues, but I think thats Windows for you (speaking of which, I did have to download Windows 11 myself, which was a battle and a half). The battery life is excellent, along with the sound quality. Im happy with this laptop, particularly because of its low price, and will likely have it for a minimum of three more years.

Works great for me. The weakest point is the fingerprint reader. It works great while setting it up, then always says it cant read the fingerprint, or it is not available, enter a pin.

Bought this for my kid but laptop arrived dead on arrival and we returned it. He bought a laptop directly from Dell instead, works like a charm.

ASUS VivoBook, a perennial favorite, is getting a new bolder look thatʹs sure to get pulses racing. The slim and lightweight VivoBook S14 now features diamond-cut edges and textured finishes, and is available in two distinct colors that have been chosen to reflect your personality. The positive vibes continue when you open the lid, where you’re greeted by an Enter key with color-blocking edges. VivoBook S14 brings out the true you, both inside and out. *The actual transfer speed of USB 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 (Gen 1 and 2), and/or Type-C will vary depending on many factors including the processing speed of the host device, file attributes and other factors related to system configuration and your operating environment.
