> 3 dayI love the quality of this screen. received it and connected it to my PC. read some articles about the display port vs. HDMI. I decided to go with the Display port connection and of course had to install drivers. once the drivers were installed the free sync feature is great. knows what to display and when. the only thing i have to say is that if you think its plug and play at max res, youre sadly mistaken. there is a setting in the monitor that you have to turn on for the free sync feature to work and its oddly labeled. After that was figured out and my settings were correct and monitor calibrated, oh boy is it nice. i play a lot of Different genres of games and whether its a FPS or a RPG or a strategy game it out does what Ive known as a monitor for the price. highly recommended.

> 3 dayIve had this monitor for a year and a week. You get what you pay for and Id like to divest myself of this one. The PC has an Intel Core i7-12700K and is using onboard graphics, which probably makes a difference here. Since opening this monitor, it has been a piece of hot junk. Pixels, sometimes individual, sometimes one row, sometimes 8 rows, act like theyre frozen and flash and change which rows are stuck. This isnt uncommon on a new 4k monitor to a much lesser extent, but it went away on my LG after a couple months and has only gotten worse on this thing with time. It has never ever recognized a displayport cable, always saying no signal, and Ive tried 3. In the last month, the screen started going black for 5 seconds at a time at random intervals. I might try a new HDMI cable to see if that solves anything, but I had really wanted to use the dp. The trick of power cycling the monitor with the cable in doesnt work. When I first opened it, HDMI 1 didnt really want to cooperate. I used HDMI 2 for a while until I tried switching ports to see if I could get the pixel insanity to stop, but they both produce the problem. I also rather hate that the thing has no options except to control brightness. It is super finicky to turn off. If you try to turn it off after the screen has gone into standby, you get back to the display selection and cant turn the monitor off from there. Honestly the monitor defaults to display selection when it gets overwhelmed. The comments about the narrow viewing angle are accurate. The thing is wildly fuzzy if you stand up and look down at it or are seated at too low an angle. It does have a decent tilt range for adjustment, but it isnt particularly sharp no matter what. Letters have a very noticeable halo always. There is a good chance that I am going to take the thing in to be recycled and buy a new one because no one deserves the torture of troubleshooting this piece of junk. Usually Asus monitors are fine, but avoid this like the plague for a pc.

> 3 dayGreat great great value. Takes a bit to find the right settings but being able to save presets is a plus. Brightness is a little jarring but overall well worth it. Using with PS5.

> 3 dayI have another similarly priced Samsung monitor and wanted a dual set up so I decided to try this one. The Samsung blows this out the water with the quality of colors, most notably the depth of blacks. Both monitors offer a crisp picture with this one ever so slightly edging the Samsung out with finer details sometimes. Other than that it has worked flawlessly since purchased which was almost a year ago so no complaints there. Its definitely a decent monitor considering the price point but there are other options I would explore if or when it comes time to purchase again.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor as an upgrade to my 21.5 1080P Asus 1080P, which has been serving me well for the last four years. Initially had some issues getting set up on my 2019 Macbook Pro which turned out to be related to limitations of different versions of HDMI vs. DisplayPort. Connecting to the HDMI cable Id used previously, I was able to get either 1080p or full 4K, with no resolutions in between, at a maximum refresh rate of 30Hz. An Asus support agent told me that refresh rate might be limited depending on HDMI cable version. Using the HDMI cable that came with this product, I was able to get 60Hz. Nice! Unfortunately, there were still no intermediate resolutions available between 1080p and 4K. This product did also come with a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable; I purchased a DisplayPort to USB-C cable after reading a forum thread suggesting that might help me obtain the intermediate resolutions that I was seeking. ....and it worked! All in all, this monitor seems great so far! Hope this info helps someone out there. Cheers.

> 3 dayFirst monitor I got was damaged (deal pixels, washed out coloring) and I think from the reviews that there may be an issue with quality control or the shipping company. The replacement I got however is great, the picture quality is good although I haven’t played any games on it yet. I have seen other reviewers (on Mac) have said that the resolution was off, I think this is an indicator that the product is damaged. My replacement monitor looks great, was detected automatically and has the standard resolution scaling I expect on a Mac. (see image) For a budget monitor this is a good deal, if it wasn’t for the first one being broke I would be very happy. *First time I have had a damaged product that I had to replace, Amazon’s return process is great. I wasn’t hassled and I really appreciate just being able to take the broken monitor to the UPS store and show them my QR code.*

> 3 dayI didnt have any intention to buy a glossy screen. There was no clear statement about whether the screen is glossy or matte and all pictures didnt show its glossiness. Maybe its not very glossy but still glossy and will reflect some light and image from your back. There is also an extreme disadvantage about selecting input from multiple sources. There is no way to disable auto-select or fix the input source. You need to press buttons 3 or 4 times to switch the input source you want again and again if you switch your the input source on/off and there is another input source always on. This is very annoying and its possible this will shorten the button lifetime quickly as well.
