Athalon Everything Boot Bag/Backpack - Ski - Snowboard

Finally one place to keep all my ski gear organized - boots, helmet, gloves, goggles, socks, balaclava etc. Bought a different color for my wife so its easy to keep track of which is which. Quality seems good so far (one ski trip) and looks good.

Very durable without being too heavy. Does the job and then some. Word of advice, order a unique color even if not your favorite. I saw this bag three times on my recent trip and accidentally picked up the wrong black bag not knowing it was not mine. Luckily the other person checked and realized they had mine.

We purchased 2 bags for middle school ski club trips. About 1/2 full (used to carry goggles, boots and lunch) - 10 mins btwn parking lot and slopes and 5 minutes from house to driveway on 3 trips. Will try to get replacement bag of same type and update review. Pros: Graffiti print very stylish; easy to find in a ski club of 400+ kids with mainly all black baqs. Returned and Got Same One: 2nd one has held up well for 2 years (about 15 trips total).

My husband told me he wouldnt use the (hidable) straps, but found them handy when he had to carry his own stuff and help another skier who had been injured. We did snip the stitching on one edge of the top inside fabric casing so we could melt the ends of the straps and handle more, given the reviews indicating that the handle ends can strip and pull out (thanks to reviewers who indicated this from their own experience!). We found that these ends could be melted more completely (my husband used a soldering iron for control, since the ends are short) so they couldnt strip and were fatter; my husband then tacked the casing back to the still-hot material, saving me some hand-sewing work. Everything else appeared very well made. He did have to write on it with a silver sharpie for labeling, as it has no built-in shipping tag and reviews say add-on strap ones tear off in airline transit. He had no problems whatever with this on his trip, and was amazed and amused at how much he could pack... and pack... and pack... into this after he had his boots and helmet in the appropriate compartments. He loved it! It carried everything his ski bag didnt. Definitely appreciate Athalons workmanship in general and would buy other products from them as needed.

This bag is amazing! It will hold all of your stuff - boots, jacket, helmet, ski pants and gloves, goggles and misc items. The middle compartment is huge! There are also 4 misc pockets - 2 on the flap and 2 on the side for more storage. The back is well padded if you want to use it as a backpack, but you can also store those straps inside a 5th back pocket (so they aren’t hanging) if you want to carry it with one of the 2 handles. I got the batik color which is not the bright blue that is shown, it is more of a navy (which I happen to like better). When you click to look at the various descriptions/pictures, that is the true color.

We went from a double boot bag that we loved. It had boot pockets on both ends so we carried both pair of boots and a large center pocked in the middle this was a wheeled duffel and we loved it. Couldnt find anything like it anywhere (We used it for over 15 years). We found these EVERYTHING BOOT BAG/BACKPACK on Amazon an the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. Have used them this season and really like them. We are spoiled and dont have to walk far to or from the lodge so we really didnt need the wheeled duffel any longer and it was finally worn out. These were a good choice. I carry extra gloves, socks, lighter shirt helmet and goggles and still have room for more. the boot compartments are vented so the boots dry nicely overnight without having to take them out of the bag. I would definitely recommend and buy this bag again.

My sons and I ski & snowboard. Getting a 12 & 15 year old and their gear to the slopes is tough enough. Nevermind having everything organized. I love these bags. I have everything they need for a ski trip stored in their bag: Boots, helmet, goggles, two pairs of mittens/gloves; snow pants:, ski jacket; gators, etc. Theres still room for more! It takes the stress off of packing to go up north (from Boston area). The backpack style is so convenient because they still have their hands free to carry skis or snowboard. Im so glad I bought these!

Fabulous bag especially for the price! I saw a similar bag in a ski shop close to my home that was $99! I have to say this bag is WAAAAYYYY better! And with Prime I got it in two days, which was perfect for my upcoming ski trip to Colorado. This bag has a great color, which means you wont mistake it for the countless other black ski bags out there. Plus so many pockets for stashing lots of stuff. It holds boots, helmet, gloves, pants, socks, protein bars, key clips... I cant say enough good things about this bag. It is also made really well, which means you can take it on many a ski trip. Ordered this for my daughter (age 10) and a different bag for my wife. This bag is far superior to the other. Fabric and zippers are both heavy-duty and look as if they will last a very long time and take a lot of abuse. Immediately returned the other boot bag and ordered a second one of these for my wife. This will be a bit large for the 10 year old but shell grow into it. Only critical comment: The colors are darker than they appear on my screen. I was expecting almost a baby-blue color, but its more of a steel blue. The gray is also darker. Much more practical colors for a ski boot bag, but if you are expecting a pale powder blue you may be disappointed.

It does not stand up well enough on its own to make it easy to load and unload. You have to hold it up/open to do anything. Once youve got some stuff inside it then makes it annoying to put the boots in and out. Since the bag doesnt really hold its own structure, more contents make it distort and then pockets and zipper become misshapen and harder to use. I went with a Kulkea which costs more but is a lot nicer, tougher, sturdier, and easier to use.
