Atwood 93868 Water Heater Replacement Parts - Spark & Sensor Electrode, 2-Prong (1)

Item doesn’t have the protective rubber. Item IT IS NOT the one listed on picture. I did fit my water heater, but doesn’t work. On my hand is the original one that I look out of my camper. (How it’s supposed to look like). The one installed is the one I bought and wrongly received.

Works perfect for the RV water heater

Replaced an Atwood 91346 board and igniter with this new unit, labeled 91365. WH would not light off, also would not light manually. Replaced with original circuit problematic board and WH functioned normally (heated water, then shut off) except having to light it manually ( barbecue lighter )

Our Atwood GC6AA-10E water heater would go through 6 to 8 start ups, where it would spark, light and burn for 2 seconds and go out. Then after that it would start and work. But it would fail again. after overnight cooling off. Guessed that there was no milliamp voltage from electrode. being fed back to control board to keep the gas on after lighting. This new electrode seems to have solved the problem. Starts like a champ now. Lucked out it was not the board.

This, along with the new thermostat I bought, was an easy way to clean up and restore my old water heater. Works great. Only problem is it did not come with the cap for the connection where I plug into the circuit board, which is not possible to take off the old one without destroying it. But other than that, it works great

Worked like it should. Didn’t fix my problem, ended up being the board, but now I have a new igniter and a spare one.
