I had received the bag and it had been lying packed for three months in my cupboard. On opening, I realised that the long shoulder strap was not there. I contacted the company. There were very prompt and immediately sent me a shoulder strap. Excellent response and after-sales courtesy. The bag is of superior quality, and material and is very beautiful.

Overall I am VERY pleased with my purchase. The OoB (Out of Box) experience was 2nd to none. The packaging was simply beautiful and very deliberate with lots of attention to detail. Ive been using it for about 3 weeks and I love it. The leather is soft, but still sturdy and rugged looking. There is no bleeding of color from the bag to my clothes, the sections are nicely organized and fits my 15 laptop perfectly, power supply, books and notebooks. I would purchase another bag from Augus in a heartbeat. The following improvement suggestions: My laptop is $1000+, and the bag has side padding and a velcro strap to secure the laptop (thumbs up), but no padding on the bottom. The other suggestion, I like the shiny sturdy look of the big metal zippers but struggle zipping around the corners of the bag because it requires two hands to pull the two halves together and work the zipper around each corner for 3 zippers (minor irritant but worth mentioning). It might simply be because the zippers are new. Only time will tell.

My husband is very pleased with his bag. It looks beautiful and appears to be well made. Note that it is quite heavy! If you tend to carry quite a bit in your work bag this may be an issue. The price makes this an excellent value. It has been used for a month now and no complaints.

This bag is a great for any business man, has everything you need to hold you things. Great quality! Would strongly recommend!

Wasn’t sure I was going to like the Zipper or the fifth of the bag but the zipper is smooth and the bag feels great. Love the style.

Very good product that looks nice as well. The magnetic flap is hard to keep closed so I carry those towards my body, but otherwise a good buy.

Ive had this a few months now. Carry it everyday. Love it. Leather is soft, supple and well put together. Color is what I wanted. Number of compartments is just right. Separate sleeve for the laptop is perfect. Well done.

First, I must state that I rarely write an in-depth review...only when something really stands out (good or bad). In this case, it is the former. I am absolutely amazed at the high level of product packaging, design, functionality, quality, and anticipated durability. As seen in other reviews, the bag arrived in Apple-like fashion, with a ton of thought placed on the presentation and experience of opening a quality item. The bag arrived in three purposeful layers of packaging: a nice plastic bag wrap to prevent mold/scratches, etc., then a beautiful black cloth outer bag for gifting/scratch prevention, and then a first class, Augus-labeled, jet black bubble wrap for added protection during shipping -- upon unpacking, I was sure that Amazon made a mistake and sent me a $600 bag. Love this attention to the details! As for the bag itself, the leather has the perfect thickness and stiffness to provide protection for laptops without too much weight. Hardware is very nice and robust with shoulder strap clips that are quick release, but with a lot of metal overlap to prevent accidental unclipping. Zippers feel robust and have very nice riveted and sewn leather pulls. The interior lining is nicely done with excellent stitching and a very finished look. The design layout of pockets, pen holder, card holder, pockets, etc. is intuitive -- obviously designed by someone who travels extensively. In truthfulness, I just received so I can only anticipate the durability; however, Ive flown well over a million miles with everything from $10 duffle bags, to a variety of briefcases and messenger bags, to the standard Wenger backpack that you see the high-milers use on almost every international flight -- that said, I know enough about what works and doesnt to have a really good feeling how this bag will perform. Im so confident in the Augus, Im leaving the Wenger at home (permanently) and this will be my new daily bag as well as travel bag. I stand by the review title -- BUY ONE OF THESE NOW, because its worth 3x the price. Very well done Augus...youve earned my future bag business as well as recommendations to others. Augus, I do have one marketing suggestion: I encourage you to stamp (or tag) the bags with your Augus brand. You have a great product that I am confident your customers will want to exhibit and proudly share your brand name.
