This is made for the key ring in the center and the new civic has a key fob with the key ring to the side. It will not work correctly.

I love these little guys. Easy to slip over the key fob, stays in place well and the buttons are easy to press. My only con for this item is when you want to lock the car while it is running you have to pull down the protector to get to the release switch for the manual key to lock your doors. Since I have dogs that come with me often this is a big downfall for me. I am considering modifying them to have a small hole where the release switch is, even if I have to cut the silicone.
