Our son has a little bit of eczema on his face and arms and weve always used triple cream and it worked pretty good. Then we gave Aveeno a try and were not going to back to anything else. It goes on so much easier than triple cream and works better. His eczema is pretty much unnoticeable now. We love and use Aveeno for many other products in our house, so probably should have know this would be good too.

This cleared up my sons dry skin over night. I love the formula, its not greasy and has no strong fragrance and does exactly what it says it will do. Will be ordering this again.

This didnt work for us. DD has cradle cap and scaley patches on her elbows (though I dont know for sure its eczema). We tried this lotion 2 different times and each time, she broke out and the patchy areas got extremely red and irritated. I immediately stopped the treatment and washed it off. For now, were working with Aquaphor and its not causing a breakout (its the same stuff we use daily on her to prevent diaper rash).

I bought it for my 6 month old who has eczema. It did not help. i have eczema on my hands too, so while applying this cream to my baby, my skin felt really uncomfortable, almost itchy, and his skin would turn bright red.

I used this in combination with Cetaphil for my 5 month old. He had a terrible spot of eczema on his leg... it was hard, scabbed and bright red. I felt so bad for him! We would have to put socks on his hands so he wouldnt reach down there and scratch it. After washing him with the Cetaphil and then using this lotion for about a week it was almost gone. He still has a dry patch on his leg so Ive been putting this lotion on it twice a day to try and get that to go away. But the redness is gone and he doesnt itch it anymore. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone with eczema... baby, kid or adult.

because I get extremely bad eczema, I have to resort to using childrens creams. I bought this lotion for 9 dollars in walmart, and I CANNOT DESCRIBE THE HORRIBLE BURNING SENSATIONS I FELT AFTERWARDS. It felt like hell itself was on my face. I called aveeno to complain, and they said it could have been the lotion was expired or a mistake. IT WAS A MISTAKE, OF S***. A big stinky pile of doodoo mistake. So afterwards from which calling them to complain they proceeded to try to send me a free bottle, of the same product, because they assumed it was just a case of expire lotion. Feeling apprehensive with shaking hands I applied the new bottle of cream, AND LO AND BEHOLD, THE BURNING SENSATION OF HELL HATH RETURNED. I will never use Aveeno again.

Why didnt my doctor recommend this? After going through two tubes of steroids and having tried udder cream and aquafor...and you cant use the steroids much and not over a wide area, except her eczema is everywhere, its hard to use sparingly I dont want to endanger my daughter because she needs relief. The aquafor is good on her feet but not all over. I needed something to help relieve my daughters itching and worsening condition. We put the aveeno cream on her at bed time and the next morning there was an immediate change, much of the redness was gone and the skin looked better than it had in two weeks of other treatment. We have been using the cream for a week now and she is almost completely clear. So much so that we are switching her body wash, regular lotion, her sunscreen everything to aveeno for my little girls very sensitive skin. This eczema cream is so light weight, your skin can breathe through it, if your child gets heat rash too...then you need something that breathes and this does.

My little bub had horrible rashes on their skin and I had tried many other products. This one was great. It does not feel oily on the skin and absorbs in really fast so she wasnt able to rub it off or smear it all over me and her clothes! If only it was a little cheaper!

im no baby but living in LA, there was a period where it was hot and intensely dry and my legs got insanely itchy from being so dry. why only on my legs, ill never know. i was using bag balm for a while and it helped stop the itching but it got all over the inside of my work pants so i had to find another solution. a gf of mine bought it for her babys eczema but ended up having to use rx steroids for it. so she kept it and used it for herself over the east coast winter and found it worked great and recommended it to me when my itchy legs happened to me. ive used this and the regular aveeno eczema lotion after the baby one ran out and found they were both exactly the same. the regular one came in a bigger size. ive used it for over a month and while i still get twinges of itchiness on my legs, its leaps and bounds better than it was.
