> 24 hourI do a lot of photo processing and wanted a 2nd monitor that would give me true colors. Thought this was the one but when it arrived and I set it up. I was surprised that the screen was so dim. Perhaps its because I work mainly on a Dell XPS 17 9700 which has a bright/crystal clear display. Next to my laptop screen, the BENQ was a let down. I downloaded the drivers and Pilot tool which helped a little. I was able to customize the screen a bit more and get it a little brighter. Its just adequate. Even a television gets a better, brighter picture. I guess I got what I paid for. Wont make that mistake again. Ill give it to one of my sons for their gaming boxes.

> 24 hourthe box arrived damaged, but the screen was protected internally with foam, it was easy to install, not much configuration needed, i have been working with it for 2 weeks, no problems so far. i use it with 220v cable. mostly i do coding, movies. less gaming. but this screen got a lot of good reviews and has all the needed inputs i need. the price is a little high for screen that is not the latest in the market, but still good buying,

> 24 hourIve had dual screen setups for many years now but i find that for what i do at home this large size single monitor is perfect. I bought it mostly for photo editing, and its absolutely fantastic for it. I ran my datacolor spyder calibration on it and it didnt make any appreciable changes to how it looks. At this point im using it with factory srgb settings when i edit photos. But Ill probably run the calibration again in 6 months or so. Lightroom and photoshop at full screen are fantastic on this thing. As for other programs, i almost never run anything else full screen anymore. a word editor on this thing at full screen is ... well, ... ridiculous. But im sure a big gnarly spread sheet would be nice on it. Im used to having multiple windows open at one time and spread over two 24 monitors. On this i run them floating and can just as easily switch between them without the annoyance of the division between monitors. And I actually have more desk top space now. I do like that i have the option to rotate the screen to portrait, but honestly, even editing portrait oriented photos i dont really feel the need to do that. It has lots of features that i dont use, like picture in picture, and the KVM switch. So i have no feedback on any of that at this time. I do like the little puck as it does make navigating the setting menu super easy. But for me its really an unnecessary feature. If your someone that switches from CAD to editing photos, to editing video multiple times a day its probably pretty nice. Just click the button assigned to your preference and your good to go. The SD card slot is nice and accessible, as are the 2 USB slots. I guess the only negative I have is the built in speakers. I dont know why companies even bother to put speakers in monitors. They always, ALWAYS, sound horrible. But there is a headphone jack with the USB ports if you want to use the monitor as what essentially amounts to a headphone extension cord. If youre a gamer im sorry, but i have no feed back for you. But for photo and video editing, this is a great choice. I would so buy this again. And i wish i hadnt waited so long to get it in the first place.

> 24 hourSo the last monitor I had to use was the one attached to the laptop on the left of the image I provided. going from a gaming laptop with a 1080 resolution to a color corrected 1440 resolution was definitely a jump in quality. The color quality is one of the things I love about the monitor. Ive been using the laptop for doing illustration work and I still use it as a mobile machine when I need to, though the color has always been a bit off, so Id go back and forth with images on my old iMac because Ive always liked the color quality on apple product. The color reproduction from an illustration standpoint is great on this monitor having used Adobe Photoshop. And working at this size has been a huge boost. One thing Ive seen on here is that there is supposedly a flicker issue with this series of monitor. So far Im lucky as Ive not experienced any flickering or back lighting issues. Moving on to Build quality, this monitor is rock solid, though Ive not experienced my own creator/designer monitor before, so I may be biased in that aspect. Either way the stand is heavy, and Ive no issue with screen wobble after adjusting to the height and angle desired. Adjustments are also surprisingly easy, and the fact it can turn on the stand for easier access to ports makes this very convenient. installation of the stand itself on the screen was simple and easy, and I was able to have everything set up in an evening with plenty of time to test and enjoy. The only thing I would say that someone may not like in this monitor would be the speakers. Personally I did not buy the monitor for the speakers, and anyone actually into music should not buy a monitor for speakers, as you would be able to purchase $10 computer speakers that would do much better, that would be small enough to fit under the screen. Other than that possibly the Bezels, though theyre only about half an inch thick, and again this is not something that Im picky about. For those that came to the bottom, basic summary would be crisp picture and great color reproduction, Very solid build with easy access to 2 USB ports and SD, though do not buy for the speakers. I hope this helps someone with their purchase!

> 24 hourMonitor is fantastic, except for the dreaded flicker. Im surprised this product hasnt been pulled from Amazon and replaced with working units. This comes across as a tactic, sell defective product on unsuspecting people and only replace the ones that someone actually notices, one way to make a profit without having to do a write-off. One star because I have to RMA the display one day after receiving it. ***UPDATE*** BenQ RMA process was quick and simple. Received a new replacement monitor that does not have the flicker. Increasing stars from 2 to 4. Would be 5 stars if the KVM solution wasnt so painfully clunky. Switching between two computers is a process, have to change the USB input first before you change the video input otherwise no go. Also if the machine is asleep, even switching the USB input first doesnt wake the computer so you pretty much forces to press the power button to wake/restart the computer. Dell has the KVM solution down, switch video inputs automatically switches USB inputs. Wish BenQ would do the same, map the USB upstream to a specific video input. Other then clunky KVM, it really is a fantastic monitor.

> 24 hourWe use them for CAD, we have tried many monitors over the years nothing even comes close to the quality of picture. On a scale of 1-10 all the others are a 1 this monitor is 1000.

> 24 hourI’m a lifelong Mac user and graphic designer who recently had to switch to a PC for work and needed a second monitor. Great quality, beautiful picture, sturdy, and easy to set up. If you’re used to the Mac-quality displays, this is a great alternative.
