I wanted a stand that would allow me to properly separate my work laptop and my personal laptop on my desk. I had been noticing some overheating when I just had one sitting on top of the other. This allows me to place my work laptop underneath on the bottom and my personal laptop above. It is at an excellent height for use. It is ergonomically sound when typing. And, most of all, it is sturdy and does not bounce when typing. Simply awesome!
