Bird Kabob 8-1/2-Inch Carnival Chewable Perch

I have bought several of these over the 2 or so years Ive had my two love birds. They LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing ... they tear it up until there is nothing left to shred ... keeps them very busy and very happy. Every time they get down to just the string left I buy them a new one. It does take them several months to shred it completely.

My birds love to chew this, they can destroy it pretty quickly.

My four keets love this. The one strand kebabs and the hollow one-piece wood options arent as easy to chew once most of the wood is off, so there is some waste with those products. This one, however, is brilliant. They can chew everything else but what they are standing on, and only then will they begin to chew it out from under themselves, so they get the most chewing out of it and it lasts three times as long. The best part is that more than one of them can chew on it at the same time too, so my bickering hens have one less thing to fight over. This is pretty big, so make sure you have a decent sized cage to put it in. Hangs up with the soft twine thats also ok for them to chew on. Best birdie chew-toy weve had in a while. Ill definitely buy this again and again for my busy little budgies.

I have 3 birds and they love it..only problem they fight over it..i will have to buy another..lol

My keets love Kabobs! Sometimes Ill take it apart (very easy to do) to make three separate Kabobs. This helps spread the fun out a little longer. The little rascals dont get them all at once and because they go through them like there is no tomorrow, this simple trick saves me a bit of money.

This is the third time I have purchased this for my Senegal, Buddy. Swinging and chewing are two of her favorite pastimes so what could be better than a chewable swing? She swings and chews and after she no longer feels secure standing and swinging on it, she simply stands on another close perch so she can finish the chewing. It keeps her entertained when I am gone and she cannot be out of her cage. My only word of caution is that it seems it would be easy for a parrot to get tied up in the ropes after most of the balsa is gone. Buddy has never had this problem but I think it could be a possibility. I always replace it when the side pieces are totally gone.

Good toy for a small bird would not recommend for a macaw, mine got tangled up in it

2 Parakeets tore this apart in 2 days. Its big so that tell you alot. They loved it!
