I feed squirrels out of my second story window, and they use 2 of these latched together to get from the ground to our feeder. My cockatiels love this mat. They like to hang out on it and preen or sleep. It looks like a comfortable place to sit. Its a large size so you need a good sized cage to stretch it out straight. It is difficult to clean so I dont recommend putting it under other perching.
