Greater than one weekThis thing is a crumb vacuum. No more, no less. If I were trying to use it for a heavier-duty application, or had different expectations, I might not like it as much. Heres why I gave it five stars: 1. It holds crumbs. Ive had far more expensive, name brand floor vacuums that couldnt keep their contents INSIDE the vacuum. This has a little flapper door that works very well so far. 2. It does a good job with crumbs, dust, and minor dirt. It has plenty of suction for desk and light car vacuuming, and I find it pretty handy to have around. You might pick up a few cheerios, but its not going to suck dirt out of a floor mat like a proper shop vac. Use this to maintain, not to clean up when things get bad. 3. It has a good filter. This has a modern dual layer filtration system with an outer dust screen, and an inner fine paper filter. It captures fine dust quite well. 4. Its easy to clean out. Just pop off the dust bin, pull both filters out, wash the screen, and tap off the paper filter vigorously. Ill need to replace the paper filter at some point like any vacuum, but it comes with an extra, so no big deal. The battery life is fine, but nothing to write home about. If youre using it daily, youll want to keep a micro-USB charger handy every few days. I dont use it super heavily, so Im not best positioned to talk about battery life. It could be sleeker, but this is about as good as it gets for a useful vacuum. If you need something heavy duty for big car messes or serious dirt, you should probably just get a portable shop vac, like a Milwaukee unit. If you want a crumb vacuum for small messes to keep things tidy, this is your vac.

> 3 dayNice little hand held vacuum. I use each morning to get loose dog hair off treadmill. This has a SMALL reservoir. Look at the measurements. Good vacuum but you definitely need a consider what you intend to use it for.

> 3 dayJust got this product today. Vacuumed my car for about 10 minutes with it, and feel confident enough with that experience to give this 4.5/5 stars. Rounded up to 5 then, it is. My wife and I have no pets. We will mainly be using this to vacuum our two sedans every 4-6 weeks, and do some light dusting around our apartment (sofa/bed/shelves/windows). For those tasks, this vacuum works very well... mostly. My cars trunk is lined with a very VERY low profile carpet... like 0.2 mm (millimeter). The fabric has almost like a velcro structure, so small pieces of debris seem to stick to that surface. The vacuum is certainly not strong enough to pick up debris in that context. If I add the attachment, and swipe/wave across that surface back and forth, I can eventually pick stuff up. For smooth surfaces, this will pick stuff up like a champ. Like I mentioned, my wife and I dont have pets, so we wont be running into the kinds of capacity complaints that other pet owners are having in these reviews. We will be using this vacuum for 5-minute jobs at a time, and in that sense, this vacuum works just fine. While the vacuum does run out of battery pretty quickly (as I think others have pointed out), unless you are running this thing for 25-30 minutes everyday, youre not gonna have much trouble. On average, my wife and I might use this thing for a few minutes a day, and we find ourselves plugging it in to re-charge maybe once every 10-14 days. My two other complaints are both minor. One is that its not the most user-friendly to hold. No grooves or anything like that for your hand. Its like holding a wide pipe in your hand. You might find yourself adjusting the grip every few minutes. (I found myself inadvertently pushing the button and turning the vacuum on and off multiple times inside the 10 minutes that I held it.) The last (quite minor) complaint is that the base for the vacuum is a bit of nonsense. Yes, you can insert the attachment on there, but then its quite firmly snug in there, so whenever you want to use the attachment, you have to pick up the whole base and remove the attachment with both hands. It would have been great if the attachment could be just housed inside the vacuum when not in use, and then just standing the vacuum on its own. Overall, good enough. It certainly looks more handsome than other handheld vacuums... almost like a piece of art. I would buy it again if I had to make the decision all over again. We wont be using this very often, so we expect it to last at least a few years.

> 3 dayFour stars may be generous, but overall it is a good product. Main reason for buying this was to get rid of dog hair on my cloth seats in my car. It’s a brand new car so the dog has only been in it a few times, but there was still a bunch of hair. I got through my passenger seat & to get majority of the hair off, it probably took me a solid 10 minutes of vacuuming. Not all the hair was off once I gave up, but it was clean enough to tolerate. However, I didn’t make it much further past the passenger seat because the vacuum died very quickly. After running for 10 minutes it was already on the last bar of charge. I still think it’s a great product for stuff other than intense dog fur and it’s small enough to keep in the side of your door for easy access. Highly recommend for keeping in a car for little spills or something, but wouldn’t necessarily recommend if your sole purpose is to clean dog hair. A lint roller might be a better option at that point.

> 3 dayIve had this for exactly five months. I use the minivacuum for cleaning up seeds around the birdcage and minor spots from a ow-tack rug. It does the job beautifullly and is quiet enough so it does not throw the canary into a panic. It took a while to understand how things work, but once i mastered that removing and replacing the dust receptacle is a breeze. I clean the filter after each use - easily done. Th extension tool for getting into cracks is helpful, but often detaches, not a big deal. Its a gorgeously efficient design for small jobs. The wands battery requires recharging roughly every sixth use, depending on how much energy was used. Its helpful to have three verticla dots of light to indicate when the charge is reaching the bottom. I recharge when it reaches one light. Recharging is easy. The device occupies so little space it is easy to place next to the lap top for recharging. I dont recommend it for picking up leaf droppings as these easily block the suction cup at the center of the dust collecting bin. Its one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. Please tell Bissell I am super happy with this. Perfectly matched for the need.

> 3 dayWhile the design is very sleek and elegant, this is more a tool to clean up a few crumbs off your desk rather than to do any real cleaning. The dust cup is so small that it fills up in a minute, so youre constantly emptying it out. Also, the exhaust is too near the suction, so while youre cleaning, sometimes the air is whooshing your dirt away from you, making it harder to clean up. The battery life is pretty minimal. I feel like I can vacuum maybe 5-10 minutes before a recharge. I wish I had done my research and bought a real hand vac that would do what I need.
