Im always worried about cups leaking. Ive used different versions of the Blender Bottle and with all of them, its truly just good crafting behind the simple design that saves me from leaks. Theres been a couple times where I started shaking and got sprayed by almond milk, to realize I hadnt fully seated the lid. It has to snap when you close it and it takes a bit of force. And of course, twisted tight as well. So the almond milk spray is a user error one. The metal ball thing is fantastic and so simple, but works. Little to no clumps! Being able to use the dishwasher to clean is also fantastically convenient. I chose to buy this version because the 3 pack is a fantastic bargain compared to WF. I don’t know if I’m the only one, but my blender bottle lids always crack after a while. I got tired of buying new blender bottles, so now I buy these lil’ guys for the extra lids. …and if my kid needs a shaker bottle…I have that covered too. It’s a win-win. Love these things! I use them daily at home to mix energy drinks, meal replacement drinks, pre-workout and post-workout shakes, you name it! Blender bottles make a great seal, never had one leak out of the 10 or so that I own. They are much more durable than other water bottles/mix bottles. Havent had one crack or fail, even after numerous washes in the dishwasher. Additionally, they seal without the use of any type of O-ring, which many competitors bottles have. Ive found that with many competitors bottles, the O-ring degrades over time, as does the quality of its seal, thus, eventually other bottles start to leak. In some cases, Ive found that other bottles O-rings start to develop bacteria or mold underneath the O-ring if you dont pull it out and wash it separately. This just adds to the maintenance and hassle when cleaning your drink containers. In short, Blender Bottles are the best you can get! I no longer buy anything else.

I have recently started a shake diet with Idealshape and Quest. These bottles work great with thick powders and any additional items you would like to add. Included is 3 bottles - Red, Black, and Blue, and 3 shaker balls that go along with them. The bottles are BPA free. The shaker balls have a spring to them , so they can be collapsed flat if they need to be stored separately from the bottles. The snap lid is very sturdy and will not unsnap if moving around in a lunch box or bag. The mouth opening is wide enough for comfort and also open enough for the thicker shakes too. They wash great in the dishwasher. The only minor complaint that I have with the bottles is that they could be a little better with marking the measurements on the side - the measurements are not colored and are clear as wel. Not terrible though. Happy shaking!

I only had one blender bottle, that came with a workout DVD set that I bought. I dont use it for protein shakes, I use them for smoothies and daily isotonix vitamins because of the handy measurements on them. Of course love that they are dishwasher safe (Im the WORST at actually getting around to hand washing things) and leak proof. I am a bit disappointed that they are advertised as 20 oz, because they are 16 oz at best. The measurement guide stops at 14, but you can easily see you can add another at least 1 oz in the bottle. It just wont be perfectly measured. This size works for me however. But I was expecting 20 oz!
