This well made toy is one of the very few my picky cockatiel will play with on purpose. I have it free hanging from a top bar on the cage with a platform below it so he can sit there and peck at it ,make it swing and twirl etc. He really likes to tug on the rawhide tag on the bottom. So far no damage, just quiet fun and stimulation Definitely recommend for this size of bird and beak

Normally birds need some time to get used to a new toy, not this one. GCC was a little leery of it, maybe a half an hour later caught her whipping it around, ringing the bell that I tied on to the bottom. Shes not a big chewer or nibbler so this toy will probably last quite a while!
