Braun ThermoScan Lens Filters for Ear Thermometer, Disposable Covers LF40US01 (40 Count)

Weve had a Braun ThermoScancan thermometer for several years now. For a while, we kept reusing the filters, but one day realized the readings seemed inaccurate. My son clearly had a fever, but the thermometer was saying his temperature was 97 degrees. We went out and purchased new filters, tried again, and got a reading of 101. You cant simply wipe off the filters and get a good reading, it really needs to be a new filter. I know there are generic brands available out there, but if we feel like we need to know our temperatures, we want accuracy. Im only comfortable using filters designed to work exclusively with the thermometer we have. These little things give me peace of mind.

I have used ear measurement for more than 3 years, it is very convenient and very good, fast and accurate, and the new packaging is replaced.

If your thermometer is Braun, buy these! The ones that are not Braun but say “fits Braun” are too loose and fall off.

Although pricy, these filters are designed for the Braun Ear Thermometer and work perfectly. Other, cheaper filters that I have purchased hoping for a more economical alternative have not worked at all, and were a total waste of my money. So I wholeheartedly recommend these.

Since this is for personal use with direct contact to my child’s skin and ear loop - I had to trash the item since they were visibly opened. Maybe not used before but it was opened I was refunded without having to send it back

Save yourself time and money, dont try to buy off brand tips, they wont work. They will not clip properly into the thermometer, and it will not read right if it reads at all. Just spend the extra few bucks and get this item from the actual manufacturer.
