> 3 dayI love this movie! An engrossing comedy with great realism. Makes you appreciate the ups and downs of teenage years. Even though the setting is the 1930s, this story would be funny and rewarding in any generation.

03-04-2025A movie all about love of family in an unsettled time. Funny and absolutely correct, with outstanding characters.

> 3 dayNot as good as I remember it, but there were still good scenes and funny parts. I think it came across more as a play, and maybe it should have stayed on Broadway. I thought the acting was a little too theatrical and the characters were playing to a live audience. Its definitely a movie to watch again, but just not in the foreseeable future.

> 3 dayReminds you of that forgotten time. All the actors are fit for their parts. We have watched it for at least 10 times. It is that good.

> 3 dayHey there is nothing like a good Eugene Morris Jerome movie that will have you in tears laughing. The relationship between Jonathan Silverman and his mother in the movie, Blythe Danner is truly fantastic.
