> 3 dayHolds secure when wind gusts come up. If you twist until the plate is in the sand also, it keeps the umbrella from tipping throughout the day. I also recommend drilling a hole in your umbrella pole so that the securing screw actually goes into the pole instead of just pressure against it, as a good wind will otherwise work your umbrella out of the anchor. The one bad thing about this is that after 1 season of use, the paint on the bottom has worn off and the metal is rusting pretty bad.

> 3 dayNice flag BUT does not hold up in mild to medium winds, (10-30mph) quickly frays and tears.

> 3 dayI wrote a good review for this item early that I would like to retract now. After closer inspection I found that the flag had very uneven borders ( was not rectangular ), and the circles of the services were not round, but oval. Also, there is an ‘order’ to the services as they are presented based on their established dates. Apparently, the manufacturer did not do their homework as they are grossly out of order. I bought this for our American Legion as a hang-up display and when I actually took it out of the packaging, I was so disappointed with the quality.

> 3 dayA good wind can pull the umbrella over no matter how far it in the sand.

> 3 dayLove it. Replaced my all military flag with this one because it includes Space Force. Looks great. A bit thin but the metal grommets will work great.

> 3 dayMy mom got one of these in a drug store about 15 years ago and we still use it. I finally purchased my own. Very easy to attach and dig with. I keep mine attached to my umbrella all summer, but Im careful to mind the sharp end of the coil. Its by far the grabbiest grabber out there and I highly recommend. If you dont want any impalings, this is the way to go.
