Canon Pixma iP2600 Photo Inkjet Printer (2435B002)

This is a cheap printer, and I dont mean merely the price. The feeder on mine went bad in less than a year. It would only intermittently grab the paper to print and times when it did it would start printing further down the page than I specified. Color ink doesnt last very long and, for me, the prints came out with faded color after a while. Avoid.

This printer broke a month and a half after I bought it. It no longer takes the paper I load into it properly, and is unable to print anything. Ive gone back to using my last printer, and now Im wondering why I upgraded in the first place.

I recently purchased this printer after my hp deskjet6620 died on me a few months after my warranty (what luck!). Anyway, so far Im very pleased with the ip2600. The style is very sleek and small enough to fit on my desk. The only 2 downfalls I have come across so far is that when I printed a photo the colors are slightly dull . Secondly, the warranty from Canon is only 3 months. You could always purchase the additional warranty from Amazon.com for less than 10 dollars. All in all I think this is a great printer for the price and I am quite happy.

i bought this printer for my mac book pro and it works amazing and the price is great too. i recomend this printer to anyone and everyone. and it is great for printing pictures and its fast too.

Just a wonderful quality item for what it is made to do. Its simple to install; its quiet; its quick; ink cartridges seem to be lasting a reasonable length of time....I just have to say A++++++ and way to go Canon once again.

The printer is fast and simple to use, but I am disappointed in the print quality of photos.

Hi, i was faithful to Canon printers, this was my 3rd canon printer... I hated Epson printers cuz since long time ago, the epsons automatic features and ink level sw were not accurate... this was the main reason why i have been faithful to canon printers... but not anymore, i had s200, ip1500, now this one... and seems to be that as others say, there are chips in each cartridge, and my original black and color cartridges are no longer recognized by the printer, the printer sw says there is no more ink, but there IS still ink left.... I guess canon become very greedy... shame on you canon... i was so loyal to your brand for nothing...

Printer works fine. I have two other of these same printers on my other computers, and I am able to use the same ink cartridges on all of them. Thats a big plus.

I bought this printer several months ago for thirty bucks at a big-box discount retail store. (Cant remember whether there was also a USB cable in the box; there might have been. I have plenty of them at home so its not a big deal for me either way.) At the time my main home printer was a fancy Canon multifunction inkjet. I got the IP2600 because its small and lightweight. Although not intended for use as a portable printer, it was easy to take along with my laptop, to the home of an older relative for whom I was doing some word processing. Including printing out 5 x 7 updated pages for her address/phone book. It was perfect for that project. Since that time, my older Canon multifunction inkjet machine bit the dust, and the new Canon multifunction inkjet I bought to replace it?
