Q: What is minky?
A: Minky is a particularly soft, warm & lightweight fleece fabric, a form of polyester that resembles real mink in touch and as soft & silky as cashmere. It is favored for its durability in making nursery blankets, baby accessories, pillow, nursery bedding, apparel, toys, quilt backings and other baby items newborn essentials.

Q: How big is it?
A: This line of car seat covers for babies measures 40 inch long and 29 inch wide. The adjustable Velcro straps are designed to cover most newborn carseat that has a handle. But because this baby canopy doesn"t lay flat on the carseat, the best way to know how it fits is to ask other parents who have the same baby carseat that you have.

It"s a useful baby item that can also be worn by a nursing mother as pumping cover up or breast feeding cover ups.

Q: Is this warm enough for winter?
A: This carseat canopy cover is 0.1 inch thick and has a double layer enough for spring and fall use. If your winters are exceptionally cold, please bundle up your little baby as normal with an extra blanket.
Please do not leave your child unattended while covered up in the infant carseat or baby carrier.

Q: How will this do on windy walks?
A: Sometimes it blows up but the weight of the fabric along with its Velcro hanger helps not to blow it away. On especially windy days, we recommend tucking the corners of your baby carseat cover into the liner on your car seat.

Q: Is this waterproof?
A: The fabric is water resistant and will keep your baby warm & dry in a light sprinkle. It would absorb water with prolonged exposure, so we don"t suggest using this as a means of long-term rain protection.

Q: Is it machine washable and dryer-safe?
A: Yes, it holds up well in the washing machine on gentle cycle. Use cold water & mild detergent. No fabric softeners or bleach. Tumble dry on low heat; but if possible, hang to dry.
