I mainly got this as a carseat cover because on our very first trip out, the poor little guy had the sun in his eyes. And it will also be great for protection against rain, snow, or cold weather in general. But I like how versatile this piece of fabric can be. I never even thought of using something like this as a shopping cart or high chair cover-- especially helpful during the upcoming cold and flu season. The fabric is nicer than I expected, I expected it to be a thin jersey, but it is rather thick and has an interior that is not unlike a microfleece and very soft. The fabric seems thick enough to keep rain from coming through. It may be too thick for use during summer, but well see. Over all Im very pleased with my purchase!

Absolutely love it! It’s soft, it fits over my evenflo car seat. It’s pretty stretchy so it can get loose, but no big deal. For the winter, I wouldn’t use it alone. I would use a blanket over it or even a car seat cover that hooks to the car seat handle, because I want my baby to be extra warm and although it’s warm, baby may feel some cold air. But it’s a great buy for a great price.

Right out of the package this product had an incredibly strong chemical smell—almost like a burnt rubber smell. I washed it THREE times and was unable to get the smell out so unfortunately I cannot use this around my baby. It should also be noted that there was a hole in it. Whether this happened before or after the three washes, I am unsure. But regardless, it should hold up to a washing machine better than that. Disappointed in this product, especially since it is for use around babies. Why they would douse it in awful smelling chemicals I do not know.

I like it as a car seat cover, however I’m not a fan of how it is as a cover to breast feed. It felt uncomfortable for me when I was breast feeding and my child was sweating with the material.
