I think it does what its supposed to. Hard to tell when I have an annoying rat who likes to push all the bedding to one side of the cage.

Less mess and more absorbent than other products. I use it as litterbox filler for our pet rabbit. Bunny approves; by not tossing the stuff everywhere as she does with wood shavings.

A little dusty but a huge bag :)

I go back and forth between this and fleece bedding for my 2 guinea pigs. This stuff controls odor pretty well. After about 3 days I can usually start smelling my females cage, my male is usually around 5 days. My main thing has always been making sure they arent in dust filled bedding, there is very little to no dust with this product. I have it on repeat order.

It is great at absorbing smells, but also transferred the color onto my rabbit and all of the toys she had brought into her litter area.

This bedding is great. It helps to control the odors really well! The bag also seems to last a while even with 2 guinea pigs in the house!

I am having horrendous allergic reactions (wheezing, itching, etc.) to this bedding. I also purchased this same product from Petco in addition to this one from Amazon and had the same reaction. Unsure what happened, but when I had used the same product (purchased from Amazon as well) back in 2017 for my last hamster, I did not have any issues. I am wondering if they had changed the formula in the past 3 years. Additionally, some of the bedding came with gray/black stains.

Smells like barf when disturbed, which is all the time. Dont buy...love your small animal and yourself better than that.

We have a guinea pig who LOVES to nuzzle with this bedding! He makes happy sounds when I clean it. Great price. Great odor control (I do spot changes when necessary and full cage change once a week). Keeps our piggy dry and clean. Most importantly, it does NOT contain wood shavings, dyes, scents or dusty residue. Great buy!
