Decent case for the price. I bought it for my ViewSonic PJD5155 projector, which turned out to be too big for the case. Even after I punched out a space in the padding, the case wouldnt close with my projector inside so I ended up removing the extra foam completely -- and theres still no room for cables. Also, while most of the case feels pretty solid, the plastic near the clasps is a bit soft/flimsy. Not sure how much abuse it could take. Its perfect for my needs right now because Im not traveling, but the next time I go on the road Ill buy something sturdier/with proper padding (and enough space for cables) and just use this case for miscellaneous gear.

I actually purchased this to use for camera equipment and it does the job. Its not as sturdy as a pelican case and isnt waterproof, but for moderate protection it does the job. The pick and pluck foam is is great though, full customization is nice. They come out in little towers (the full depth of the case) and I found it was easy to cut them down to the right size and stick em back in if you need shallower spaces. All-in-all its a decent case for the price. If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments below.

I purchased this for my new video projector to protect it since the original bag it came with was so thin. It is definitely a tight case with foam packed interior. I had no problem getting my projector to fit, BUT had problems working in the cables and plugs. The foam has pull out tabs that allow you to customize the interior, but the projector took up so much room there was no way to put a section in for the cables. I had to just place them on the foam next to the projector. Other than that issue, this is a good case and Im glad I bought it.

Several cases are listed for different projectors, but cases seem to all be the same dimensions. Our projector is a Dell 1430X. I used a knife to slice through the the pre-scored foam blocks. The projector fits great. The case is medium weight and should work just fine for our purposes.

Liked the small squares in the protective foam that you can remove to fit exactly what you need to be fitted in the space

Nice case but our projector is too fat to close the case. Had to take out all foam only leaving the egg crate in the top and it still barely closed.

Our projector will be used by different people and carried to events, so I wanted something sturdy. This was the best thing I could find and my Epson VS240 fits well, but kind of tight for the accessories (but I made it work). The dense foam is cut into (something like 50) small pieces that are fairly easy to work with, however, you use your finger to break away the parts you dont want and you have to be very careful not to tear pieces out by accident. Wish they had a tool to cut the foam with and wish the instructions were more thorough.

Solid carry case. I bought it to hold a newly purchased protable projector. It fits the Epson EX 5250 with enough room to also tear out a little compartment for the cables. Tear away foam squares are my favorite destructive creation tool. I wish i got to play with them more often. One tip: measure your projector and mark the corners with white chalk or a light fabric pencil. The tear out one row less of squares than you measured in each direction. You can try the fit, and always tear out more if needed. In this case, I left on square connected in each corner, since my projector has rounded corners. The fit is ideal. If you need to add foam back, rubber cement works very well. The case itself is a good balance between protection and weight. It has just enough foam to have confidence, without being too large. I would not ship a projector in this case, or check it as baggage without further protection, but for a rugged grab and go projector case, this is perfect.

very well made case - use it to transport a epson 1080 projector. A little tight for extra cables but the protection for the projector looks real solid
