Checkered Flag Performance 3.780 Tapered Piston Ring Compressor

Just finished installing all 8 pistons on my 5.3l build. Works great and is easier to use than the adjustable band style. Only down side is if you change bore size you have to buy another one relating to the new bore size. But, at $20, its worth it. Great tool!

Worked perfect

Made installing the pistons in my 5.3 lm7 a cake walk. The top starts off wide and when you push the piston down it gradually closes the ring gap to fit in the bore. Yes Ill probably only use this 2 or 3 times MAYBE, but it is worth the 20 bucks to compress the rings down to fit easliy

The quality looks good I havent used it yet but it looks good and sturdy

If you have a set bore you are working with, this tool is amazing to use. Soo much better then any adjustable one I have used in the past. It was so easy, I thought something was wrong.

Very well made, had to return, needed the 4 inch size.

A awesome tool and well worth the money if your rebuilding a 4.8l or 5.3l ls engine.
