After making only 2 hats, the cord separated from the needle. Very disappointed...dropped many stitches when it broke...had to resort to using bamboo dpns which had to be continually filed smooth to avoid snagging my alpaca yarn. Has anyone else had their chiao goo needles separate?

These are perfect needles-- nice sharp points, flexible cables with sturdy joins, and inexpensive to boot. Whats not to love?!
