This program is absolutely amazing, if you can operate a computer you can learn how to code for Minecraft with this. I got this for my son because hes been begging me to learn how to code and make mods for Minecraft since he was six, at eight hes a little young for it and still needs some help. but the resources theyre providing, the instructions have made it so I, who doesnt even know how to play Minecraft, can easily help him with any part he doesnt quite understand. And on top of that they have chat help if we needed it.

This program makes it easy to learn the basic coding structure. It allows my kids to create mods for Minecraft, relatively easy. I like that it is using Java as that is the direction coding is continuing to move. Whether you are into Minecraft or not this program can help.

My daughter loves Minecraft and doesn’t know a lot about coding but has wanted to learn how to create mods. I was so excited to get this for her. She picked it up pretty quick. She has had a lot of fun with it and found it easy once she got the hang of it. Would definitely recommend!

My 12 year old has been playing Minecraft for quite some time on the game system and just recently has been interested in coding . So this was a good purchase based on that alone. He has been enjoying every moment of it and won’t stop talking about all the “cool” things he’s doing . My 5 year old has been watching him too so now she’s been involved in helping him . Pretty impressive so far .

We got this course for our boys 11 and 14. The 14 year old likes it a lot. The course is challenging but he has been able to figure things out on his own. Our 11 year old has only done scratch style programming and gets stuck much easier. He needs a little more involvement from me or his older brother, but Having the chat option is great because you can get help from a real teacher. My boys are using this as curriculum for a homeschool coding class. Using minecraft as the basis gets them excited to work on it and motivates them to keep trying when they get stuck. I would recommend this to anyone who already likes minecraft and is interested in learning to code.

Overall this appears to be a great training lesson. It has a portal that guides you through the lesson sections and has great resources to assist as you go. The initial content appears to be very solid, but time will tell if my 10 year old picks it up. We did have some initial issues getting the software working but were able to resolve it pretty quickly. I will return later once my kid runs through the class to update my review, but initial impressions are great!

As an adult who has a technical degree this is a decent program. My 12 year old needed a little instruction due to never coding. Overall I feel it is a beneficial program and hope to achieve some coding goals to help him with future opportunities.
