When i received the item i installed it immediately, it took about 20 minutes.

Good quality material and easy installation. I just needed the cap to fit my existing mount. Why cant I buy just the cap? Ended up throwing away the base piece as there was nothing wrong with the one I have and I didnt want to have to reseal a new mount.

I had no idea these things were on the roof of my RV. And when I found both of them damaged I panicked. I first checked an RV parts website and then searched that part name on Amazon... yep, they sell those too. I only needed the mushroom cap but nobody sells just that so I ordered the complete unit and it fit just fine.

Used this to replace a brittle rv attic vent. It doesnt come with screws, but I was able to reuse the old ones. The only other thing needed is dicor self leveling sealant.

All i really needed was just the cap, not the whole vent - so I just took the cap off the new one and replaced the OEM cap. The original cap was sunbaked, dry rotted and flaking away. On a side note - get up on your camper roof regularly and look at all these things. if they are deteriorating - replace them. Take the cover off your AC and make sure its not full of leaves or insects.
