> 24 hourUsed for a month now by middle schooler who wears it all day (no time for locker ) and it is full of books, folders, and lunch every day. Wearing very well. Zippers are sturdy. I like that it does not have a bazillion pockets, zippers, and strings. Simply and sturdy. The lunch packet is great, but it does share space with the main compartment. You cant just throw a sandwich or bag of chips in there or it will get squashed by all the weight on top of it. I put everything in plastic containers to avoid the issue. The shoulder straps are a tad loose as I have to adjust them once a week or the bag is riding on his butt. Perhaps my son is playing with the straps while he walks, but I could not get a clear answer. But 20s once a week is not a big deal.

> 24 hourIts a good backpack and one of the only ones I could find that had a lunchbox inside it, but there are a few areas where it needs work. First, the shoulder straps are really long. I had to tighten the straps completely for it to be comfortable. Second, it would be nice to have at least one more big zipper section to organize your stuff better. I ended up buying a backpack organizer for this problem. Third and my biggest problem, the lunch box part needs to have a hard insert. Having a lunch and even one big book doesnt work. The books flips my lunch over or squishes it because there is no hard insert. The lunch box section is the main reason I bought this bag, but it just didnt work out, and I ended up having to take a lunchbox seperate anyway.

> 24 hourUpdate: After using this daily for several months now, I love the bag as much if not more than the day I got it. The bag as well as all zippers/closures have held up to daily use, and after getting caught in the rain last week, the outside of the bag dried quickly and kept the contents dry. I use this bag for a daily commute on public transit with a laptop (and cords, etc), a few files and a fairly large breakfast and lunch, and its perfect. The dedicated, insulated compartment in the bottom works well as it keeps containers flat and separated from my files and computer. There are plenty of interior pockets and zipper compartments, and the laptop pocket fits a laptop and several folders perfectly. The straps are contoured/curved so they stay on your shoulders, and are more comfortable than they appear in pictures. The back is nicely padded and ventilated, and theres an additional chest strap that may come in handy. I opted for the larger size, which was only different by an inch or so in all directions, and it was a great idea as it offers extra capacity, but collapses flat as needed.
