Corsair RMX Series, RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply (Low Noise, Zero RPM Fan Mode, 105°C Capacitors, Fully Modular Cables, Compact Size) Black

Just received the RM850x and I was under the impression that I was getting the newer model , but no.. the 850 thats selling right now is the older but still amazing (2018) model with the rifle bearing and not the Mag-Lev. Minus two stars for the misleading information on the amazon page and for leaving my package in its original box on my porch exposed and tagging it as handed to customer.. It was most certainly not handed to me!

Installed it a few mths ago, working well. The last Corsair psu still works well for 7+ yrs but I needed to upgrade.

Blew the first night. I was thinking there might be a fuse in it I could replace and took it apart, probably voided the warranty. Heard horror stories about the RMA Process, and I needed a PSU fast. Taking the hit.

Solid psu not a single problem, reputable brand little expensive but worth it

This is the worst, most stiff, unbendable, unformable PSU cabling I have EVER wirked with. Terrible.

It’s a power supply, and it works well and it’s super quiet. Wish it would do my taxes for me, but again, it’s a power supply. Buy it, just don’t expect it to do your taxes for you, but it will be quiet.

Great power supply, bit noisy because of my small room. Modular cables are perfect for budget builds with only essentials.

This PSU was DOA. The cables are also low quality considering the price.

The first one I ordered arrived in the Corsair box, everything looked like it was in great condition and it was really easy to install. I got it all hooked up and when I pressed the power button, the power supply made a popping sound and the entire room filled with a burnt plastic smell. Obviously the computer didn’t turn on lol.

Super quiet and i hardly even notice it compared to my previous P.S. Simple to connect with lots of options available.
