Corsair RMX White Series (2018), RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White, 80 PLUS Gold (CP-9020188-NA)

I just did a new ATX PC build a couple months ago and went with this PSU. So far Im very happy with it. Unlike one other reviewer, mine came fully and professionally packaged. Keep in mind this review is for a PSU that is way over what I need for power in my case - perhaps some of the negative reviewers where it died in a few days needed a higher wattage one.

Used this in a recent build powering a i5-12400f and an RTX 3090. Handles both overclocking and undervolting remarkably well. Build quality is superb. PSU cables and clips are solid if a little stiff. Eco mode is terrific for when youre not straining your system and want a quiet experience. Perhaps best of all, this is known to be one of the best power supplies as ranked by independent power supply testers as a premium A-tier product. (Google: PSU Tier List)

I mean its a power supply, not much to say. Its not really quite. Its probably louder than my fans but its not terribly loud, Ive had worse. Good wattage for a mid to slightly over mid range pc. I have a 2070 and 4 fans and still have power to spare. Pretty good.

Scary the fans never turn on

Its a good product, but if you want to power a RTX 30XX series that is more power hungry (i.e. if the card requires 3 pci cables) you would be missing a PCIe power port on the PSU (as my processor also requires two power cables). I had to upgrade to the RM850X for this exact reason. Besides that, the PSU is fine.

I didnt purchase the product, but they were quick and fast about a refund, amazing costumer support.

I bought this on Aug 17th 2021 and only this year January I put it to use when I got an rtx 4070 Ti. With my components I easily have 200 to 150w extra since this is the 850w psu. Its now April and over the last week I started to get random restarts and today my pc wont start up anymore. The lights turn on but no fans spin. I hear the psu try to turn on twice then it stops. Im thoroughly disappointed.

No problems so far, and I cant hear it at all. I like the look of the white cables, and had no problems installing it
