Ive turned into the kind of dad that looks over his power bill and watches the thermostat like a hawk, so after a few painful power bills in a row I finally retired my first-gen socket 1366 Intel Core i7 system (the processor used over 250 watts when overclocked!) to a new and more efficient Skylake system. It kind of hurt to do since I had no performance problems even six years after I built it, but it was probably time.

Excellent, very fast and reliable memory

Works well in my new build, Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming MB, Ryzen 3-1300X Quad Core, running Linux Deepin, so far excellent, fast and responsive. Use as Everyday desktop build, non-gamer. Well please so far, have not tried to over clock yet, will add another 8 GB of this excellant ram before I try. Good Luck!

What youd expect of a fast RAM.

I caught this memory on sale to put in my new PC and was very happy with it. I never had 16GB until now. My brother bought some shortly after me for a slightly higher price and won the Samsung B Die lottery. I sadly did not as mine is Hynix. It did not give any problems and posted immediately for the full speed. Mine are blue as I was not about to pay extra for black memory.
