I own a craft studio. I bought this paint from Michaels in a pinch, as I needed more white and black for a party. It dries chalky. It causes any paint mixed with it to turn chalky. It is thin and runny. I usually use beginner level supplies as that is what my clientele is, however, I do not want to even expose beginners to this paint as they may feel all paint should be like this. I will never buy it again.

I love them, but some colors are a little watered down.

I am personally convinced that this is tempera with the label of acrylic. Due to the fact that this paint is extremely water soluble. literally I had a completely dried layer that a I put a diluted wash that peel up in thirty seconds. That being said it you are a parent and want to get a paint set your young kid 10/10 recommended clean up was a dream even for dried paint.
