Due to being oversea and I could no longer use the regular heat press. I decide to purchase this and I was not disappointed as I purchased one for my son in the states as well for his business. Very convenient, easy to use, and we can travel with it.

So first things first, the reason for 4 stars: The device requires a micro-USB cable for registration and firmware updates, however it is not shipped with one. Ive different types of tech, so I had a spare one that worked, but not everyone will have spare cables laying around. This might also make it difficult to initially setup if youre not using a PC. Things I really liked: It came with a sample piece of vinyl and a bag to hold the heat press in that you could practice your first bit of heat pressing. I was very nervous about potentially ruining a shirt, and when I saw that, I was very relieved because it put me more at ease having the chance to do a first press on materials they provided. I do wish that the sample vinyl came with some sort of description of what type of vinyl it was, just to make it easy should I want to purchase that same vinyl or similar at a later date. Does its job! I had to do several presses on some of the designs to get it to work, but I dont think that was the heat presss fault, just the variety of vinyl being used having to have lots of different temperatures. It handled going from 330 to 315 to 290 without any difficulty for pressing different types of vinyl. Definitely better control and reliability than I would get from a normal iron. Does need to be used in tandem with the Cricut website, at least to start, so that you can learn what temperatures to use. I love that it comes with a silicon holder, so you have somewhere to put the hot press in between pressing and while it pre-heats.

Have only used a few times but works great so far

I am enjoying using my easy press to create fun shirts and gear for our favorite football team. It is simple to use; only two settings. The temperature is always good. Just follow the online cricut guide. One little note though, it is kind of heavy if you are a petite lady.

I tried using an iron the first time I used HTV and totally ruined my project. I was convinced I would never use HTV again. I then decided to purchase the EasyPress and it has changed everything!! Yes, you need to press hard (I just lean on it real hard and use my weight to my advantage). But for me, its more convenient than a heat press. I like to take it with me to my parents house and its incredibly portable. Its also very easy to use. Plug it in, turn it on, adjust the temperature if you need to, adjust the timer if you need to, start the timer when you start pressing. Great product that I absolutely recommend.

I have been making T-shirts for a while now and the vinyl always started coming off after you washed them. Then I got an order for 25 shirts and I knew there was no way I could do it with just a clothes iron. The Easy Press worked beautifully! So much faster and the vinyl went on so east with no corners lifting. I love the guide that tells you exactly how long and hot to set it based on the type of material your shirt is and the type of vinyl you are using. The heating surface is very even heat with no hot spots. Get one! You will not be sorry!

I bought it for personal use and I have only used it about 5 times and it started giving that E5 code and I damaged a shirt melting the vinyl because the temperature rose to more than 400 by itself. I called support service and they said they were going to replace it. Waiting for it to arrive, I hope it will be quick

I got this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She said it was a game changer and 100 times better than trying to use a regular iron. She also loves the color. Very happy we were able to get it for $99 during black Friday week sale.
