I got this blade attachment for a Maker so that I could cut 2mm chipboard for Board Game prototypes. After calibrating the blade, I loaded my own design and set the material/thickness for my project. During the 45 minutes it took to cut 6, 2.5 squares the blade also managed to through the Cricut project mat and deep into the lid of the Maker storage area.

As expected. Great glad for cutting deep wood or leather with your maker.

This was the lowest price Ive found for the Cricut Knife Housing & Blade. Ive used it several times and it works great!

Good product.

Not as good as I expected from ads/videos. I used on balsa wood and bass wood. Chips the corners and edges of projects. Then it cuts unevenly. Works on other things, fine. But I bought it for the thin wood cutting ability.

I am expanding my hobby in to crafts. My sister described a frame that she wanted to have made as a gift which I felt was doable. Part of the frame needed a the word “loves” to be cut out of wood. My woodshop is small and I don’t have many options. I initially used a scroll saw but kept breaking the letters and struggled. I was talking to someone one day about it and the thought to use my cricut came to mind. I researched and found it was possible with this blade. My local craft stores did not have it in stock so I ordered online. When it arrived, it was packaged very well and worked perfectly to complete the project! I am super excited to use it on future projects.
