I had 4 GB of RAM in my computer. I added an additional 4 GB and it made my system run much faster. I did have a little trouble installing it myself. The video I watched made it look so easy - just insert and press - but mine wasnt that smooth. It didnt seem like it wanted to go in unless I got it just right. I was a little nervous about opening up my computer myself to do this, but I found a YouTube video and followed their directions. I definitely will add more RAM in the future when necessary. In years past, I just dealt with being aggravated due to slowness. This was definitely worth the price tag.
