Crucial BX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD, up to 540MB/s - CT1000BX500SSD1

Used the BX SSD to replace a mechanical drive in a 12-year-old Dell Inspiron laptop (needed it for a special purpose). My first time installing Windows 10 on the laptop, and then applying all the updates took over 2 hours. After swapping the factory mechanical drive with this 240GB SSD, repeating the entire process took about 40 minutes, the difference is pretty striking, even in a 12-year-old laptop.

I checked local shop but Amazon is chipset+ dont buy sata or Power cable, power cable should be already inside cabinet and u can use dvd sata cable to save money if you dont use dvd drive.

I used it in a desktop. It speeded up the boot up from about five minutes, to less than thirty second, which is great. Some apps load faster too, particularly Family tree maker. You dont need a separate USB lead if using a desktop, provided that you can have both your existing drive and the SSD drive connected during the Cloning process. Mine took most of two hours to clone, but works very well. dont forget to disconnect the old drive, or else your computer might keep booting up from that one.

Lo compré para reemplazar el disco de mi portátil. Hice la copia de un HD con la aplicación de crucial y funcionó perfectamente, a la primera y relativamente rápido (teniendo en cuenta el estado en el que estaba el disco antiguo). Ahora mi ordenador va como nuevo.
