Ho un notebook acquistato nel 2015 che dopo poco tempo era diventato inutilizzabile per la grande lentezza. Per anni lho usato solo per guardare film, non riuscivo nemmeno a navigare con i vari browser per la grande lentezza, ci metteva circa un minuto ad aprire la finestra del browser. Lavorarci poi, era una grande impresa, circa 15 minuti per aprire i software di lavoro (illustrator, photoshop), con Cubase poi non ne parliamo, toccava anche la mezzora per il solo caricamento.

Lo compré para cambiarlo por un hdd normal de arranque, clonándolo y ha multiplicado por siete la velocidad de arranque de mi portátil. Además no se calienta casi.

Because my computer was slow (HDD drive) I purchased this drive and instilled it. What a difference this drive makes.

I had opted to remove my optical drive and add most storage when I initially got this laptop in 2015 (yup it’s a beast but I love me a mobile workstation). For some reason (and I can’t remember why for the life of me) I got a solid state main drive and a spinning one for the secondary, not the same capacity (512 GB) just one was a solid state. So I moved the 516gb drive to the optical tray and the 1tb drive to the main position and the thing is faster than when I got it. I’ve only had to replace the dreaded, ended-support-to-early-cause-the-Intel 7260 AC had more issues than people magazine. So I replace that a few months ago and then the hard drive started throwing error so I figured I’d replace it before I couldn’t access any more. But two repairs in the seven years I’ve had the laptop and my daily driver first it was my main work laptop for work then it became my personal laptop which was still used heavily daily: that says a lot about how things USED to be built. I hear newer Lenovos are much less reliable, still decent in comparison to other offerings, but issues none the less.
