> 3 dayI built a new system recently. There are no mechanical hard drives in it. I have an M.2 and this SSD.

> 3 dayInstallé dans ma PS4 slim qui plantait tout le temps suite au HDD défectueux. Je suis donc passé en SSD avec ce modèle, et cest le jour et la nuit. Installé en 3 minutes, et ça fonctionne parfaitement bien et très rapidement, temps de démarrage de la console et temps de chargement des jeux réduits, plus aucun plantage.

> 3 dayI mainly buy SSDs to upgrade and transform relatively old (anything up to 10 years old) Windows 7 PCs. Ive put the BX500 in several systems and it works fine - no different to any other SSD since the SATA-II disk controller is usually the limiting factor. However one of these wouldnt work in an eMachines (an Acer brand) EL1850 with an Intel G41 chipset - POSTed but no sign of the SSD. Almost certainly a firmware problem (it had the latest) because I bought another BX500 and that didnt work either, but a SanDisk SSD was fine. The same motherboard wouldnt accept any CPU upgrade beyond an E8300 either, e.g. Q8300 should have been fine, so probably rubbish firmware rather than Crucials fault. I reused the BX500s in other builds without problems, so this is just a heads-up in case youve got an EL1850 (or any other eMachines - theyre amongst the cheapest, nastiest out there!).

> 3 dayItem was broken out of the box I hate to post this because Crucial makes great memory. And I have been useing them all my life as a computer tech. But this SSD was a loose and when I shook it out of the box I could hear loose parts. Didnt show up in bios or windows I spent 3 hrs thinking I could use work around to get this drive to work but it was a no go.
