I’n not used to frustration feee packaging, but everything was there (including 9/7mm adaptor), but just no packaging confirming in words what I bought. On reflection - I am going to love frustration free packaging! The product went into my early-2009 iMac (9,1) and works great. I did not bother with a size adaptor to secure it (I used a little gaffers tape). I did a fresh install of Mojave with patches to allow running on this older iMac. The SSD makes the machine wicked fast compared with before! Excellent product!

My desktop is a lot quicker thanks to this SSD.

i had a 240 gb ssd and upgraded to 500 gb and it used up all the gb with something i dont need

Funciona bien. Al instalarlo en un portatil HP me eliminó el dispositivo de sonido. Hay que entrar en el administrador de dispositivos, eliminar el dispositivo de audio y volver a instalarlo o no funciona. Es la única pega y puede que con otros portátiles no pase. Por lo demás perfecto. Ahora el ordenador va muy rápido. Hay que armarse de paciencia para hacer copias de seguridad y la imagen del disco, pero la web de Crucial tiene unos tutoriales y el software necesarios muy buenos y en castellano. Muy recomendable

Really speeded up my HP Elitebook laptop when I replaced failed original hard drive with this Crucial 500gb drive. I did have to change the laptops BIOS to get the laptop to boot using new drive. I forget the actual BIOS change I had to make as it was a few months ago. But laptop runs much faster than before. Good value, recommended.
