This Nvme drive was just what i wanted, easy to install, speedy in operation.

Purchased Mar 14, 2021. Died on May 25th 2021. No more Crucial products for me!

Updating my review now as I was so impressed with the first two purchases, I decided to purchase it again, for the third time!

Loved this product for its price and for the speed upgrade. I got this ssd for 8.6k inr and its the most economical yet dependable ssd out there. Provided it lasts a good time. I hope it does. If it doesnt, I will come review it again. So far its one of the best 10.5 k Ive spent on a HDD upgrade ever (I spent around 2k on the converter and screw driver kit).. but Im happy with the freedom that It has givem me. Go for it guys its worth it.

I bought this SSD to expand the capacity on my MacBook and I can say worth all the money. Now my MacBook is much faster, almost 5 times then before. I had some hiccups during the installation process, meaning, my Mac was restarting like crazy on hibernation mode, but I fixed that by erasing the SSD and update the Mac from internet. After doing that my Mac works like charm.

I added 2 - Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD - CT1000P1SSD8 drives to my Synology DS918+ unit in the lower cache drive slots. Works fine. I also outfitted the DS918+ with Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3/DDR3L 1866 MT/s (PC3-14900) Unbuffered SODIMM 204-Pin Memory - CT2K102464BF186D. This DS918+ is primarily used in conjunction with 3 HIKVISION PTZ cameras (7-24 recording H.265 data streams at a rate of about 1/3 TB per month per camera). The unit is also used as a PLEX server and a backup server.
