> 3 dayI recently purchased 2 SUP and needed straps to secure them to my roof of my 2008 Tahoe. I was a bit skeptical because I have never heard of this brand before, but I have to say, these are top of the line straps. Worth every penny. They synch down very well and I drove down the interstate at 70mph. I stopped twice along the way for my 4 hour drive and I did not need to tighten them at all. There are complaints about the padding being in the way, but I have no complaints in regards to that. The padding is there for a specific reason. Who cares if It causes a slight obstacle when trying to feed the strap through the clamp section.

23-12-2024These straps are great, so sturdy and easy to use. Takes about 2 minutes to tie a surfboard down and less to take it off. Buy these!

> 3 dayThese are the third set of tie down straps I have purchased to secure my kids surfboards to the top of my SUV, and by far these are the easiest to use! The clamps are very secure once you tighten them, and the neoprene like casing around the clamps keep them from scratching our car or our boards. Very good design.

> 3 dayStraps are well made with a solid buckle that has neoprene cover to protect cargo. I only use these to haul surf or paddle boards, 1-3 at a time and the tighten down nice secure. Only problem when strapping down boards is that if you dont run the straps to where the buckle ends up at the front, towards the hood, there is a lot of intolerable noise at anything over 35mph. Now with that said, there is still some noise even with the buckle placed in the front, just not as bad. I do own a Wrangler and I had the top down. So I cant say how the noise level is with a enclosed vehicle.
