> 3 dayThis is the same paint I always use. It is good artist quality. To get three good colors for a low price is an unusual treat. I like the particular three colors that are in this package.

> 3 dayThis set comes with Quinacridone Burnt Orange (a deep earthy orange that when mixed with nickel azo yellow makes a Quinacridone Gold hue and when mixed with blues makes the most beautiful diffused mossy greens, cool browns, and inky blacks), Undersea Green (an earthy multi-pigment blend that has the most spectacular granulation in washes), and Carbazole Violet (a purple that is in my opinion the perfect mixing purple due to its vibrancy and depth). This is a fantastic set of non-standard secondary pigments (with the exclusion of the Carbazole Violet)! It is also such a good deal! $24 USD for 15ml tubes of Daniel Smith! I just looked up what these paints would cost you if you bought them (on amazon) individually. At the time I wrote this review you would spend approximately $48. So you are essentially getting a tube and a half of paint for free! I absolutely adore this set! If you are an amateur watercolorist just starting out GET THIS! If you are an intermediate watercolorist that is wanting to upgrade to a higher quality paint GET THIS! If you are a professional watercolorist wanting to widen your collection of pigments and/or brands GET THIS!

> 3 dayI love Daniel Smith watercolors but I had been hoping these were a bit more vibrant or shimmery and they are not. (My mistake I think) For what they are they are lovely. I use them as dark shading colors to tone things down or as shadow or texture.

> 3 dayIm loving these colors & how they mix with each other. The green is a convenience mix but is gorgeous granulating color. Purple is very strong a little goes a long way.
