My less playful macaw took about a week to render it useless, the other - 2 days. Would be great for a smaller parrot.

Advertised as for xl birds but my Moluccan Cockatoo has chewed through it quickly and easily. It is very colorful and he does LOVE it. Just wish it was made with stronger/thicker wood pieces.

This is my scarletts absolute favorite toy. However, it only lasts a fee days. He is quite the chewer. When the blocks are gone, he will play with the ropes and break the top support until there is nothing left. Its a wonderful toy,but short lived with a macaw. The dye is quite strong on the colored blocks. I recommend washing the toy outside and allowing to dry. This will fade the color a bit, but he doesnt care. I just dont like him chewing on that much dye.

I think the price is high but my bird loves it and that what matter.

Bird toys were bought to be donated to the big birds at Cougar Mt. Zoo in Issaquah WA.

Its safe with a plentiful amount of wooden blocks!

Chew toy is large enough to keep my African Gray parrot busy and entertained for days. Sometimes the toy may last a week or more if I provide other distractions. Toy arrived in good time and I plan to purchase many more.
