This little bag has a lot of room, but will still squeeze under the seat when flying. I did have to catch a puddle hopper on the last leg of my trip, and checked it with the fight attendant because I was worried it wouldnt fit. Once I made it to my seat, I realized it would have. Make sure you check with your airline for dementions of their underseat storage. It worked great for me on American Airlines. I also brought it on a road trip helping a friend move. It fit behind my seat in a uhaul with my suitcase, small purse and laptop bag. Im 57, and all four easily fit behind my seat, with plenty of room for me to drive all the way from GA to CO! The bright color and design makes it really stand out from other luggage at the airport. So less chance of any baggage mixups with other passengers. I wouldnt call this bag heavy duty, and would be worried about just checking it like regular luggage, but was great for a carry on. It held much more than I expected.

Bag is adorable. Great for me to haul my nursing books around and save my back. The two pockets on the sides are large and versatile which I use to carry my bottle water sometimes. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is the wheels and plastic stand wore away quickly with use. Ive purchased the bag 2/3 into the semester and Ive only finish one semester so far. Keeping fingers crossed that the wheels will outlast my nursing school career which is 3 more semesters.
