This is a really nice borescope. It comes with a 5” screen and there are 2 cameras on the cable. The one on the end is 5MP resolution and the one on the side (of the end) is 2MP. One push of a button on the unit switches back and forth between the camera images. The cable is firm but pliable.

I wish I had this endoscope years ago. I cant tell you how many times I needed to see into a space for one reason or another.. into a wall to grab a wire I am fishing through the wall... a socket dropped into a space I cant see into... and many more. Of course, the day I received it I needed to use it twice while working on the car. Im not sure what I would have done without it.

Ive tried several others of much worse quality, and those were borderline useless. This one exudes professional quality, both in the feeling of the materials used and the quality of the cameras. The cameras are actually good quality that can capture good detail. Being able to take photos and video is going to make some automotive troubleshooting much simpler. This thing is definitely worth the price tag.

In my field of activities, I sometimes need to investigate double ceilings to see if there are obstacles.

While I do like this and have had uses for it, there are a few things I dont love about it. First, I didnt get the accessories (magnet and hook) with mine, which stinks. I actually had to use this to help find my wifes wedding ring she had dropped into the couch, and having the hook attachment would have been incredible, as I was left struggling with a different hook and trying to keep the camera located near the ring. The magnet and hook would have been nice to have.

First-off: weve used a number of different borescopes around the shop and home. Theyre extremely useful for doing non-invasive inspections (read: you dont have to destroy things to get at things). Some of our uses: drain-snaking to find sources of blocks, inside bicycle frames to inspect for damage or dropped parts, inside walls looking for signs of mold.
