> 24 hourI purchased this set after a futile attempt to assemble a garden wagon with just a wrench as the assembly instructions assured me was all I needed. For the record, I am not a handy person at all. And I have a very meager set of tools that I use for my basic assembly needs. I found the price of this set to be reasonable. Although, to be fair, I really have no idea of how much good tools cost. I had expected them to be pretty pricey, and was pleased to find this set within my budget. I ordered the set, and it shipped in arrived quickly. And after a bit of a learning curve, which was solely based on my lack of knowledge and experience, not any issue with the set, I was able to make quick work of the wagon assembly. I felt quite proud of myself, and I am glad to have this set as part of my tool collection to use for future needs. I would say this is a good purchase to have on hand for putting things together. I’m sure someone with far more experience and a greater skill set could do a lot more with it. For the price I feel as if I made a good investment.

> 24 hourI am an Interior Finish Carpenter, all my tools are Dewalt. To me, there is not a better tool made than a Dewalt tool. So when I saw this, I knew I had to give it a try. I needed to replace both control arms on my vehicle, but I did not have the metric set needed to do the job. This set did everything I needed it to do. I was happy to see that it also came with the 1/4 adapter for an my impact. This set did not disappoint. Tough and durable just like you would expect from a Dewalt product. I would highly recommend this set to anyone.

> 24 hourKind of hard to write a review on an item that you have not even used yet. However first impression is the tools are made nicely, has an okay case maybe the lid should have been a little more pliable though. Without using I do notice that there is no stamped sizes on the sockets. That means when the size wears off you will have to paint or use a silver sharpie to mark the size. I cant say this will hold up to superduty for hard core pros but for the home user or even pros that do not work on the super tough stuff they should be fine. Worst case they do have a lifetime warranty, if you break one get it replaced. If they cant handle the hard stuff you do, you still have a nice set of 1/2 drive sockets that you can use for normal non impact. I dont think you can really go wrong. As for super pros, maybe you want something better. But who knows. These may just surprise you. If I ever put these to superduty on my impact, I will update if I remember. On a side note. For lug nuts I bought the Tekton 7 piece available right here on Amazon.

> 24 hourDont overwork the Ratchet because of the gears made of a soft steel, and they are Not as strong as expected. Ratchet may get locked and it will be a hassle to make it function again. But overall I am happy with the Set.

> 24 hourLet me start by saying that I purchased this set with the intent of having a small socket set to keep in the trunk for roadside emergencies. Being that my Corolla uses metric fasteners, I wanted a kit that had a decent range of sizes. After comparing several similarly sized and priced sets, this one seemed to offer the best versatility and price. I decided to replace the 7/8 and 13/16 SAE sockets with 20mm and 21mm sockets, respectively, to increase the upper size range of the metric set. Unfortunately, while attempting to remove a caliper bolt this weekend, the ratchet gears have bound up. While attempting to break the bolt loose, I heard a *click*. I looked at the ratchet to find that the direction lever was now in the middle, and it could not be moved left or right. The socket would not turn left or right either. I was very surprised at the notion that a Dewalt brand tool would fail under such low stress. Fortunately, I had my Kobalt set nearby to finish the job. Aside from the paperweight of a ratchet, the rest of this set is really nice. You get a pretty wide size range of metric and SAE sockets, a low profile case, good quality sockets with nice size label engraving on them, and a bit of extra space under the organizer tray to store additional items. Another reviewer here mentioned that the clear plastic lid of the case was flimsy and will likely not last long, however, Im of the opinion that it should be sufficiently durable for being kept in a trunk or in a drawer as a backup set. The space underneath the the plastic organizer that the tools are nestled in can be used to store additional items. In there I have two large sockets (the original 7/8 and 13/16 sockets from this set that I swapped for more metric sockets), a 10 long ⅜ extension, a 6 long ⅜ extension, and a 3 long ⅜ extension. There is enough space that you could fit a few more small accessories in there as well. The box advertises Dewalts Limited Lifetime Warranty, so Im going to try to reach out to Dewalt customer support and see if theyll replace the ratchet. I really like the rest of the kit, and Id rather not send the whole set back through Amazons return process if I dont have to. Ill update this review if I hear back from Dewalt or Amazon. UPDATE 07/20/22: After explaining the situation to Dewalt customer support by email, Dewalt shipped a replacement ratchet, which arrived in about a week and a half. The new ratchet functions fine so far, perhaps I just happened to get a dud the first time around. 5 stars to Dewalts customer service team for honoring the advertised warranty and issuing a replacement without any hassle.
