> 24 hourI was very pleased with this purchase. The cover is constructed of strong, sturdy and durable material that I expect will outlast the life expectancy of the printer which it covers. It cost a bit more than some of the other covers which were also advertised, but I doubt that they were of comparable quality. Besides which, there is truth to the saying that, You get what you pay for.

What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge.
